Was here when my charity group (caregiversgroup.org) was up there in Chiang Mai for our annual charity trip. We chose this hotel due to its great location and proximity to loads of shopping and food for our members. Check out the pics below:
Review – I would recommend this hotel for the fact that it’s super convenient and super affordable. Brekkie is included as well. Night bazaar is just downstairs where you can buy so many things, food is everywhere, (Check out food reivews here http://wp.me/pCcuC-KZ) The Walking Street is about 2km away though but a nice slow walk there is fine. There is wifi in hotel.
Amenities – Very basic. Bring you own toothbrush and paste.
Service – Service is pretty ok. Front desk speaks English which is good.
Sleep Quality – Beds are comfy, rooms are clean. Rooms facing night bazaar may be a little noisy but after 11pm, everything is quiet. 🙂
Breakfast – Good spread. But not everyday…
RTS (Return To Stay) – Yes!
Overall – 4/5.
Contact Details – http://royallannahotelchiangmai.com/. Rates online pretty similar to Agoda’s.
Tip – There are hardly any cabs in CM, you have to flag down those red pick up cars like the one below and squeeze behind for like 20-40 baht per pax depending on distance. Night bazaar in front of hotel can get quite jammy during peak periods/seasons.
