Pai Iyara Resort – Pai, Mae Hongson District, Thailand
When our charity group headed to Pai where the school we were visiting is located, we booked our rooms at Pai Iyara Resort. There are loads of hotels/resorts in Pai but we chose this one due to it’s far away from the city area and closer to nature. At the same time, the price is reasonable as well. Check out the pics below:

Bathroom… the air vent and the hole beside it is not good during winter… Winds blowing in will chill any spines!
Review – Lovely resort and a great place to relax! Price is also very reasonable. Friendly owner is originally from Hatyai but he bought this piece of land very long ago and when he came over to Pai for good, he started this resort. There are some construction for more chalets within the premise, which means they are still growing. Only set back is during winters, it’ll be pretty chilly inside the chalets. No heaters and no wifi also.
Amenities – Bath: Very basic. BYO. Room: TV is old and no cable channels. So you can really relax?
Service – Very good front office service but no service after 6pm I reckon.
Sleep Quality – Beds are soft and comfy! Rooms are quiet, love it!
Breakfast – Brekkie is simple but sufficient. A little too salty. Should cut at least 40% on the salt/fish sauce/soy sauce used.
RTS (Return To Stay) – Yeah I would!
Overall – 4/5.
